Must be PERFECT!!!!!! - View image here: - ĭude I'm telling you. I agree though, they do bug me when I think about it. I see 10 different opportunities to mess up a good thing. I know you guys would say to leave everything and just unscrew the board, move it, move tabs, reposition, rescrew. If I unscrew the board, Murphy's law says I will drop the screw driver on the board. It's bad luck to mess with system that works. I guess they would strengthen the port, as if you were plugging and unplugging, all day long.I don't think I am going to fix mine. ![]() The only one lacking is my x2 4400, mainly because I reused that mobo. Of course, after I have a heart attack because I forgot to depress the PSU button to on in the back. This is my fourth "from scratch" system build in 8 years and this is the second time I have pulled this amateur hour at the apollo crap. Please tell me I am not the only one who makes these bone head moves, which are really benign, but annoying.Of course, my pride comes from hitting the power butting and having everything light up on the first try. Okay, I bend them back as far as possible and at worst, now I really have to get my finger in the little slot to disconnect the ethernet cable.Ugghhh. No flipping way in hell am I pulling out the mother board to reposition two tin tabs when everything is tight to me.I go to get tin snippers (wire cutters). After staring, I realize, oh crap, they are supposed to be behind the plate placing tension on the ethernet ports. Okay, I bend them back, but they are kind of in the way. What the hell are these I say? What a dumb placement I say.I will bend them back. I get to the end, fire her up, go to connect the ethernet cable on the ASUS P5B Deluxe motherboard and realize that there are little tin tabs blocking my ethernet ports. Ace:That I borked the positioning of that little face plate that covers all of the MBO connections in the back? This time, I thought I took care to position it perfectly. ![]() ![]() That I borked the positioning of that little face plate that covers all of the MBO connections in the back? This time, I thought I took care to position it perfectly.
